Recipe for Randy's award winning "Almost South of the Border Chili".
Made from wholesome ingredients - mostly.
2 - 10 oz. packages beef Chorizo Sausage
1 - 16 oz. package ground beef
1/2 - Yellow onion - diced
1 - 15 oz. can Black Beans
1 - 15 oz. can Red Kidney Beans
1 - 15 oz. can Pinto Beans
1 - 15 oz. can Garbonzo Beans (Chick Peas)
1 - 28 oz. can Crushed Tomatoes
1 - 15 oz. can Tomato Sauce
2 - Tbsp. Chili Powder
1/2 - tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
3 - Tbsp. Tiger Sauce (the secret ingredient)
Optional - 1/2 Jalapeno Pepper (seeded, diced)
Brown the chorizo sausage and ground beef and drain.
Add onion and peppers and continue browning until onion is soft.
Drain liquid from the beans and combine all ingredients in a kettle or slow cooker and cook until 'done'.
