There are loads of things to do in the Rio Grande Valley. Listed here are but a few of the favorite things to see and do.

World Birding Ctnter - The Valley is a favorite place for birders. Many species frequent the area during migration, and there are quite a few South Texas Specialty Birds such as green jays, etc.

There are several birding sites scattered across the valley - see them all on the World Birding Center web site.

Another 'do not miss' birding opportunity is the Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge. Visit their web site here.
